Alright guys so i recently came accross a guy shutting down his salvage business and he is getting rid of everything, atleast trying to. I have a 90 civic hatch STD that i planned on dropping a Hmotorsonline B16 full swap into. But now that i have come accross this guy and can get lot better deal on other engines im torn on what to do. He has a DA9 integra he is willing to sell me for 1k in great condition which im still debting on, but thats another thread all together. Ok so he has 2 F22s, a D16Z6, and a B18B engine tranny combos for alot cheaper than anywhere on the net. Also has a ton of honda of honda vehicles and what not since his business is salvage rebuilding.So my question to you guys is should i just keep saving for the B16 or buy one of these other setups, i already have B series engine mounts and shift linkage at my house that i bought in preperation for the B swap. Stick with the b18, get some rods(aftermarket) and build the head, then turbo it. That's my Opinion, but then again, let me ask u this, what are your plans? Power? Looks? Or gas milage? What's ur spending range?? Also, if he charges you more than 450 for the motor and trans then don't fawk with him. No junk yard should charge you more than that, this is coming from a guy who lives at the yard lol
