ok i can pick up an 88 honda civic for 500 dollars (family) i think it comes with a d16 or a b16 engine id have to check it what would be the best engine swap to do for little money but better horse power than a d16 or what could i do to make it do better in the power section. if it has the b16 im gonna keep it and do some mods to it what good mods could i do to it thanks in advance ...

no 88 hatch in the us came with a b16, you can swap out the d for a b series, kseries... what ever you like really.. if you dont have alot of money you could prob turbo the d...

 

yes i know they didnt come with the b16 but the orig owner blew the orig d out so i have no idea if its a b16 he installed or a d i have 2 find out thanks for the help
