Hey Guys & Gals i just recently bought a Honda , i was a proud owner of a Spider before i bought this Honda , soo im not really excited too admit that i have not a clue what i should drop in my Honda for an engine swap its my summer project was looking on the web for some help, and i came across is web-site and thought hey why dont i just ask the pro's, soo does anyone know what would be a good market place and what i should do to this 1998 Honda civic money is not an issue i have that and tons of time soo help is all im asking? oh and im looking for power and as fast as it can go that money can buy...

for engine swaps drop a k20 or a b16 either k series or b series should be good.

If money and time aren't an issue but aren't trying to have to do some kind of crazy fabrication for everything K-is the way to go. You can do the research if you want to do k24 or k20 or turbo or supercharger but I would do K over a B. There is just as many parts out there for either one and since money isn't an issue the slightly more expensive K wont be an issue.

Here's a novel idea. It's your car, and we have no idea what you want. we have no idea what your style is. It's your car, and your decision. None of us can tell you what you'll ultimately be happy with, and if you let us make your decisions for you, it'll be our project with your money.

If money isn't an issue, the sky is the limit. K, B, H, even J. You can make them all fit. Dual engine, rear engine, AWD, ****, I've even seen an EJ body with a V10 mounted in it. Chose your difficulty level, decide what you want your ultimate project car to be, and make it happen.

Make sure it runs well/smooth before you do any other modifications. Complete inspection and tune-up so you can make note of your own service intervals if the previous owner didn't let you know of them or isn't trustworthy.
