-8 vs -10 for oil return
Ok, so right now i have a steathmode performance oil return kit on my Garrett T3/t4. works ok, but a lil prone to leaking, and not the greatest peice of mind.... i am pulling the engine this winter to redo the Dp, and i was going to upgrade to AN fittings. now i know i am currently using -10 hose from the steathmode kit. My frind has alot of -8 line and fittings left over from one of his projects and i think he might have everything i need to make a return, and i can get it for a great price. now the question is, is it safe for the turbo to run a -8 line? it is a journal type cartridge, and it has a -3 feed line, with no restrictor. Let me know what you think/what are your experiences. Thanks
