Can i replace stock oil pressure sensor with aftermarket?
as the title say. can i remove the stock oil pressure sensor and use the electric oil pressure sender in the same spot?
so is it ok to disconnect the stock oil pressure harness?
thanks

I personally use this... http://www.42draftdesigns.com/catego...ocationkit.htm
works great and avoids the additional vibration stress on the threads of the block that simply T'ing the line would cause.

The factory sensor only will trigger a light at less than 3-4psi worth of oil pressure.
If you need to put your gauge in, as long as it's a true electrical sensor - something like the Defi or AEM sensors, not like the Autometer sending unit's than I don't see a problem at all, just ensure you get a 1/8"BSPT Male to 1/8"NPT Female adapter.
The reason I mention the style of sensor is the threads on the block are not that strong, and if you add too much weight from a sensor being threaded in back there, it will eventually crack the threads and you'll have a headache on your hands.
