i have have a 98 b16b and i was looking to put my turbo set on it from my old car on it. my question is what is the best way to build up my bottom end for daily driver and some track time to. i heard that i can use a ls crank and rods and get pistons for a b16 and make it a 1.8 is that true.

also my old setup on my 00 si was a Log manifold, 50 trim t3/t4oe .63a/r, 3" dp, 2.5" exhaust, no cat, custom 2.5" charge pipes, medium front mount intercooler, tial 38mm wastegate, dumptube , RC 650cc injectors, Omni 4 bar map sensor, walbro 255lph HP pump, Hondata boost solenoid (boost by gear and rpm), Hondata s300 it made 290hp and 190 tq what kind of power do you think i can make with this set up on my b16b build bottom end.

 

i actually boosted just a stock b16b and made 251whp and 184tq on a GReddy 18g kit

 

around 330-375 whp.

 

did you ever throw that turbo on? i would love to see some pics and details how it's running. I plan on doing something simular, just want to get some ideas.
