1995 Turbo Teg Question
Hey guys, i'm loving the site. I have a quick question about my set-up. Here is the details of the set-up. I would appreciate the help.
B18B bottom end
Vtec Head
New Honda Rod Bearing
New GSR oil+water pump
RC Engineering 780cc injectors
3 bar map sensor
Tubonetics T3/T04E 50 trim
HKS Blow Off Valve
Tial 35mm wastegate
24x6x2 FMIC
3" Catalyic
3" Flexpipe
3" Cat back (Thermal)
Holley 255lph fuel pump
B&M Fuel Pressure regulator
Hondata s200b
GReddy Profec B boost controller
I'm running 10lbs on this set-up. I was wondering, what is the highest amount of boost I can run on this stock bottom end? I would like to get as much out it. But yet keep the reliabiltiy there. I only run Sunoco 94octane. I'm presently building up a LS bottom end. That should be ready for next spring.
Darton sleeved block
Eagle rods
CP Pistons(9:2:1)
Thanks for all the info in advance.

Re: 1995 Turbo Teg Question (IMPACT)
People will tell you that the amount of PSI doesn't matter it is the hp. The generally accepted limit for a safe daily driver stock bottom end 1.8L setup is 300 whp with a good tune. So spend the money and get it tuned properly to 300 whp at whatever PSI it takes.

That only makes sense, thanks for the reply. Any input is good to me. Well i guess its time i shell out $160/hr for dyno tuning time. Thanks again.

yeah its only about the proper tuning. You can run higher than 300hp on the stock block, seen it done many times, just has to be turned correctly. Looks good though, and when you get that built bottom end, you can definetly boost the **** outta it then
