Yes i've searched & know about the EF ex 15/16 MC upgrade. But i have a free MC that I wan to to be able to use. I do not anyone telling me get a DC MC with DC brake booster cause i'm not looking to do that much work.





I found a 1995 civic ex sedan abs 15/16 MC.
I was wondering it would work as a upgrade for other 92-95 civic dx/lx/vx/cv brake booster?


I know that all EK (dx/lx/ex/hx) could upgrade to the ITR, +96gsr, 99-00si MC with out having to change out the brake booster.

15/16 is a larger bore than stock and is a good upgrade/ highly recomended to go along with a rear disc swap.

 

yes I understand that 15/16 would be an upgrade over smaller eg ones from dx/lx/cx/vx which are 13/16.

the question is:
- will the EG ex sedan MC bolt up to all other EG brake boosters and without having to bend the brake lines much ?

 

No on both counts, you need the corresponding brake booster to go with it, Mounting flange/ears are rotated 90 degrees. And it uses one larger fitting than the non ABS version.

Just as a side note, if you try running a 15/16MC with otherwise stock brakes you will end up with a rock hard brake pedal as if you had no power brakes.
