Default What could cause the...

TPS to keep going out? ive replaced it 3 times already but some how it keeps messing up. Is there anything that could cause it to keep messing up?

Maybe the problem is not the TPS but rather the TPS wires or even the ECU.

or everytime you throw a tps code you simply replace the tps instead of diagnosing it... sounds like your blindly slapping a new tps each time it sets a code, you do know when installing a tps sensor, it requires calibration and if not calibrated, it will set a code again

what they said, the problem may not even be the TPS itself!
and yeah u need to calibrate the TPS to .5 volts when throttle is fully closed and 4.5 volts on wide open throttle.
