just got my sir2 swap back and im having a few problems
so i just got my car back it is a 96ex with a b16sir2 swap in it..the problems im getting is my speedometer doesnt work i dont have vtec(stilll has jdm solenoid) when i drive my wheel goes left to right and it leans more to the right and im getting a p1607 p0500 p0325 p1337 for codes and after we tryed to clear the codes the only one that came back was the p1607
LOL.... so u took your car to a shop and got it back in that condition?? If I was u i would do like the ol lady in the discount tire comm and throw an intake mani thru the window or something, LOL!! Well if your speedo doesn't work than of course Vtec isn't going to work, that's just how honda designed it. Fix your speedo and you should b good to go, it may have just been left unplugged.
so is the P1607 code the speed sensor code? because without a working speed sensor, you will NOT have VTEC. troubleshoot the speed sensor, then your code should go away, and if all is well u will have VTEC.
or try a different ECU

ok ima try it out theres sumthin else thats wierd to me when i drive around town my oil temp is normal but when i go on the highway it drops down to super cold and ive gotten an oil change and im good on oil cuz i always check
U installed an oil temp gauge huh and u don't like that it goes cold on the highway?? That's a wonderful thing man, most ppl can't get it low enough and ur worried it's to low, lol. This just keeps getting better and better.. Can u post everything u have on ur set-up?? This just sounds to strang to b tru.
im going off the one in the cluster its just wierd cuz when this happend before i was low on oil but now that im not it still does it i have i/e/h skunk2 mani
The gauge in ur cluster is water temp and has nothing to do with the oil. I'm confused now, I have not idea what u have going on in ur car.

I would have to say you have grimlins living in your engine bay. Depends on if the gauge it correct or not as to if it is a bad thing or not.
take it back to whoever did the swap or another shop. cuz it sounds like theres a couple of things wrong. and its hard to help cuz its not in front of us. gl man.
Check the VSS and related wiring for the speedometer/VTEC problem. It may be as simple as the sensor not being plugged in and/or the connector being damaged so the connection isn't tight.
As far as your coolant temperature, make sure you have a thermostat installed, that it's in good working order, and that the cooling system has been bled properly.
