Default chipped ecu.. no fuel pump...help

im just wondering what is wrong with my ecu...
its started out like a main relay problem.. sometime the
fuel pump will prime and sometime it wont.. until last
week when the car will not run at all.. the fuel pump will
not prime.. i thought it was the main relay at first so i switch
that with a good relay and still no fuel pump... so i thought maybe
the fuel pump it dead switch that out and same thing..
nothing happen... so i was out of ideas so i call a buddy to bring his
ecu over to try it out and it start on the very first crank.. i also
try my ecu on his car and it did the same thing.. no fuel pump..

so i was just wondering whats wrong with my ecu.. and what do i need
to do to get it working again... thanks ht...

it a chipped p28 on crome for a gsr turbo if that makes any difference..

It sounds like a component in your ecu may have failed (capacitor) etc...

Replace the ecu.

a quick fix will be to take the fuel pump wire from the ecu (Pin A4) cut it and connect the harness side (not the ecu side) to ground. this will make ur fuel pump prime all the time. one of my ecus fried the fuel pump capacitor and i did this and ecu works fine. no problems

Hi, did u remember what kind of result u got when u check the main relay harness for continuity? I couldn't figure out what's wrong. The current flow is reversed when ECU is connected. U can check my post in the link below(it's kind long).
Thanks in advance
