Default D16Y8 engine vibration? or something..

So today I ran some seafoam through my engine, changed the oil and spark plugs, and now I hear this weird vibration around 2500rpm. It's not heavy, like a rod knock, its more like a vibration thing. It idles perfectly smooth, and pulls hard, there's just this strange vibration that wasn't there before. What could it be?

Seafoam? I hope that vibration isn't the beginning of the end of your engine.

Nah, no check engine lights or anything. No leaks, and the seafoam actually seemed to have helped the idle smooth out...

honestly, i think you are being hypersensitive to something that was already there.

how do you hear a vibration? explain more please.

I thought my Seafoam application helped until I started losing power over the 2 months following. It ended with a rod being thrown though the block while driving to work. Good luck.

Vibrations are felt not heard. Be more specific.

You might be right... today I drove it all over the place and didn't notice anything. I'm gonna drive it to school tomorrow and see if I can make it do it again.. Thanks for the advice guys. I won't ever use seafoam again... ha
