Default vtec problem.. helpppppppppp pleaseeeeee...!!

hey guys. ok a cel came on awhile ago and the code is vtec pressure curcuit fault. bank 1. idk wtf is going on. i check the silnoid and it works perfect. i changed the pressure switch. my vtec still dosent work. its def someting eletrical. because i took off my relay for my hids and it worked for 15 min then stopped. is there any wires i should check or something. im getting tired of this car. can someone point me in the right direction of what to do becuase im about to reck this thing. thanks alot

What kind of motor do you have? Did you check that all your wires are properly connected? Do you have good grounds on it? I'd check that one first. Make sure you are grounded well since it worked for a little when you took the hids off.

i have a b16a2 engine. yeah thats the first thing i can think off. but will the p1259 code come up for something like that... u think i not getting enough foltage for the vtec to fuction properly?

i no this is a small thing but ur oil has to b up to the rite level 4 vtec to kick in, iam havin the same pro mine wont work either i toped up the oil changed the soilnoid reset the ecu and still notin its reckin my head any info would de good thanks iam drivin a honda civic 95 esi 1.6vtec

Im having the same problem with my Type R and idk what it is. The vtec will hit sometimes then it wont. Even in the same drive without the car being shut off. Fluids are all full in the motor.

Any suggestions???

is teh car warm up? vtec only comes on once it hits a certain temp

Yeah i know the car has to be warm for it to work.
I just cleaned the vtec solenoid as well and its still not working.

Wait is it only P1259? You also mentioned bank one which wouldn't refer to the VTEC solenoid but the O2 sensor which could put you in limp mode causing VTEC not to activate.
