how much to build a d16z6 tohandle 10psi (street) 14psi (track)...?
when i get a crx i want to drop a turbo d16z6. before putting it in i want to rebuild the engine and get the block sleeved and put forged 9:0 pistons, and stronger rods in. would this combined with a good fuel/computer system be able to handle the boost levels i want? how much power should this make and what should i be able to run in the 1/4?
i agree, stock internals...most people have been doing it here, i did it for about 3 months until i ripped the turbo off....fuel management is key.
you can do like a couple of us and run ls rods + stock pistons or what would be even better is ls rods+ forged pistons.
*i dont have my built yet but in a month it should be in my car

what time would i be able to run (at sea Level) considering everythings running right and have a good tune? also, what prep should i do the the axles/tranny to take the abuse?
Who makes 9:0 pistons?
I'd say that pistons and rods may be all that you need...since there are numerous people running 10psi daily-driven on stock d-series blocks.

With 10psi you will have just over 200whp( if well tuned) probably about 230 or 240 whp at 14psi is this in a HB civic if so you could be running low 13s high 12s with 14psi, 10psi mid 13s with slicks though of course.

I'll be boosting 12psi daily driven, expect around 225whp on a conservative tune...tune your motor well!
