im intersted in buying the euro accord type-r (since i live in sweden) but i want more power in it.

So the question is how do i do to get it from original 212 to around 300 bhp and how much do you think it would cost (too much maybe )

And i dont want a turbo or supercharger since its illegal here too use it on a car that is not fitted with it from the beginning (that suxx)

Hope you can give me some suggestions...

 

cams, compression, and headwork would be a good start. even than u would be far from 300 hp i think to get that your car would not be streetable anymore and u would have to build a full race engine.

 

NA 300bhp will cost you a ton of money to achieve on street car using pump gas.. don't waste your money, but a faster car or a turbo...

 

2.6L stroker kit?

 

Didnt Scott come to the conclusion that 2.6 was too big? Even so, its going to need to need a bump in displacement, radical cams, extensive headwork and porting of anything that can be ported lol, whole valvetrain, big header (Hytech, SMSP), lots of fuel work. Its a pretty unrealistic goal unless your budget is unlimited. To make that kind of power it wouldnt be streetable at all.

 

build the internals, lower the compression, and boost it. 300bhp easy.

k, realisticly i can get it upp to maybe 230 then, and maybe a nxkit that i use for 402m or something.

my budget is around 10000 dollars, and im starting to build on it next year under the summer.

and yes its suxx here in sweden, if you play by the law you can only mod your car with 10/15% on bhp/nm ( nm=torque, do you use nm as the term for torque, and is torque right spelled ).

allrighty then, maybe ill spend more money on traction and so on instead, hmmm maybe order all from mugen, expensive yes but oh so nice parts

We use foot pounds (ft lbs) for torque and yeah you spelled it right.

Use some of that money to take out all those gorgeous women over there.
