Default 1995 Civic LX - d16z6 Swapped - $1500

I am willing to drop the price if someone picks the car up tonight or tomorrow for $1400. Other wise I'll sell for 1500. I NEED this car gone by this weekend preferably! This is a good deal for just all the parts!

Hi,

Motivated seller!
Little bit about the car. Mod list below.

MAKE AN OFFER!!!! All serious offers will be looked at. Its a 1995 Honda Civic LX, 4dr, 5speed, grey sedan. I bought this car about ~1.5 yrs ago and its been a long ride to this point. The original purchase price was $2,000, however I later found out that I rushed into it a little too fast. About a week after I bought the car, it started burning a good quart of oil a week. So I decided to bite the bullet and replace the motor. Now i would have loved to go all out and swap in a B-series but the cash flow just was there. So I opted for the d16z6 since it was a direct swap. I picked the motor up for $275 with about 90k on it. Also, since I was going to swap the motor, I decided that that would be the perfect time to take care or some other things. I installed a new stock clutch, threw in a 8lb Fidanza Flywheel, new rear main seal, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, intake and exhaust gaskets, New O2 sensor, DC sports 4-1 long tube headers, clutch slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder, new spark plugs, new spark plug wires and an AEM short Ram intake. I plans to swap that intake for a CAI since the SRI is really not the best since its just sucking in Hot air, but I got a killer deal on it so yeah! Its also got a new battery, alternator and a lightly used starter and brand new radiator. Once I got everything all buttoned up, we tried starting it and she fired right up! I should also note, I will say that I have been having a problem with an erratic Idle. My guess is a vacuum leak but I don't know where it is... The car never shuts off though just rev bounces. The last thing that should be noted was the car used to be Auto but was converted to manual by the PO. Nw there's a difference between manual and auto civic which required a special tranny mount which the PO did not get....But i did. So that's all good there. Also, that's all polyurethane motor mounts as well.

Once that was all done and I had been driving the car around for a while, I decided that I was not happy with the suspension on the car. The P.O. had installed a random mess of crap on the car like Ebay "Coilovers" and no name stuff in back. I decided to change this stuff out. I went with the Eibach Sportline suspension system which included their Sportline Springs and Pro- Series Shocks. This setup is quite nice and gives the car a decent stance as well. I went the next step forawrd and replaced the majority of the stock bushing with Energy Suspension Polyurethane components. That included the biggest PITA bushings, the rear trailing arm bushing! So that hard work is all taken car of. Next up was a rear Camber kit from Wicked Tuning, Aluminum LRCAs from Omni racing, a custom rear strut bar and a stock Si front strut bar. Lastly, I just bought new front brakes for it. I haven't installed them yet but I plan to within the next couple of weeks.

The interior is ok. Right now the rear seats are out because my original intention was to buld the car for Auto-x, but I am actually moving so this need to go. i still have the seats and they are in good condition. Also, I took the carpet out because it stank.

Overall, the exterior needs help. Its got a dent in the rear drivers door and the typical honda rust. If i had the tools to fix that stuff, I would have.

List of additions/mods

- Original Cost - 2000
- Engine - 275
- New Stock Clutch - 135
- Fidanza Flywheel - 150
- AEM intake - $25
- DC Sport Headers - $100
- Gaskets - $100
- Slave Cylinder - $30
- Master Cylinder - $80
- Spark Plug Wires - $35
- Spark Plugs - $20
- O2 Sensor - $70
- Eibach suspension - 440
- Energy Suspension Master Kit - 120
- SI strut bar - $40
- Omni Power LCAs - $40
- Wicked Tuning Rear Camber kit - $70
- New Front rotors - $55
- Ceramic Brake Pads - $50
- New Gauge Cluster - $40
- Cluster Swtich - $10
- Radiator - $80
- Alternator - $130

Bad points
- Cracked Windshield
- Passenger side door handle is broken. Snapped off in the winter
- Will need an alignment unless i get it done before is gets sold
- Typical honda rust on the rear fenders
- Paint is a 6/10. I wasn't building this car to be a showcar...only a Auto-x car.

About 4000 spent in total on the car. I could be forgetting to add some stuff but yeah.

The car already is on its way to being a good Auto-x car but I jsut don't have the time for it anymore. Hopefully I get some respectful offers though. OK, I will take any offer! I don't care! HELP ME OUT!!!! THROW ME SOME OFFERS!!! THIS CAR IS DONE RIGHT!!!

I can not stress how big of a hit I am taking on this.

Also, the car comes with e30 IX Basketweaves with snow tires on them. Its all I got otherwise I come mount other wheels that are on my other car. Whatever works really.

I am trying to sell this by this weekend so help me out!!!

Thanks!

I know!!! I don't know why no one is interested really. I know it needs a little more work but still! Even then, if some one had a clean eg shell, they could take all the stuff from this and swap it around!

Well now that you're considering parting your car out, is there any chance you'd take a trade for the rims? I've got 14inch oem steelies with the hubcaps and almost new tires and obviously I'd throw ya some dough as well.

Thanks

Actually, I might do that. They need to be cleaned up though. I also need to talk to the possible buyers about that. They might want those wheels. How are the tires on the Steelies????
