Any of you SOHC VTEC w/ JRSC owers out there running NOS? My idea is not really for a power adder but more of a way to cool the intake temps of the JRSC since it does get quite hot. The only nozzle i've found from NOS Techline is a 40 shot for Fuel Injected Vehicles. Is there any other nozzles or safer shots for cooling. I'm not looking to go the Water injection route because it seems to be less effective than advertise. So if you're running this setup lemme know what type of ecu you're running (hondata, motec, aem ems, etc) and the positive and negatives of the setup.

Lemme correct you before you get flamed, NOS is a brand just like NX, ZEX, Venom, etc. The correct term is N2O, Nitrous Oxide, or NAWWWZ
But the answer to your question on the shot size is companies make just about any size you want, you just have to call them up and order it separately, or I can make you one for $5 plus shipping, very simple.
Are you still running stock boost on the JRSC? If your still running stock boost you Don't need an EMS for your set up as long as you have the proper fuel and tuning needed, and with such a low shot of N2O get a dry system.
I have an NOS brand system with 4 custom shot sizes, bottle warmer, pressure gauge, and bottle blanket, if you want it PM me.

Yeah, what I meant was N20. NOS was just what came to mind but thanks for not flamin' me. I'm running stock 6psi boost and want to minimize the loss hp from heat but at the same time want to get a safe amount without blowing anything. Do you take a small shot and bore it out the the correct size or what when you make them?

My buddy ran a 30 shot on a jrsc`d ex for about a year w/ ni problemos to speak of. This was a NOS kit.

Donnie Stefani did it. He ran 12.5s on his single with spray. He was in Sport Compact.

 

i keep hearing many different things about boost and nitrous...

use a wet kit

use a dry kit

a dry kit is harder to use w/ boost
a wet kit is more likely to distribute through the IM evenly...

which is it guys?

For a low shot like 35-55 its safe and good to use a dry shot but 75+ you want wet. With a dry kit the O2 sensor picks up the cold N2O coming through the intake.
