no, no codes at all. this is really pissing me off. my problem so closely resemples a problem with the fitv. i hate when my car dies at stop lights lol ><
exactly, ive always had a little bit of a bad idle. the idle surge gets so bad and the rpms get so low that the engine turns off. i honestly think that is the problem unlessu have any other ideas
Have the car running, and then unplug the IACV if the car dies, you know the IACV isn't working properly, it should have a real fast surge idle if it's working properly. Should fluctuate ~250-500 rpm max when it's unplugged.
Have you removed the Idle Air control valve and cleaned out the little screen?
Have you tried to screw the idle screw out raising the idle a little bit?

Like if you are sitting idle does the car just idle low and then die or does it go up and down and then die?
Raising the idle might help if the car idles to low and it just ends up dying, maybe it won't get that low with the idle screw adjusted up. That's what I would check anyways.
