broke ecu pin for o2 sensor help please
im doing a b18c jdm swap in my 93 cx hatch. I am wiring up the 4 wire o2 and on the ecu pins i ripped the wire from it. Then trying to get that out i snapped another piece of the pin off so there is only like half left, is there any way to deal with this? its driving me nuts and wasting time on me doing this motor swap.
you could get a new ecu. or like what i did. i pulled out an ecu plug and it yanked out the whole vtec pin. but my friend chips ecus and just soldered a new pin in.
i tried that but ripped the wire out from the pin, then when trying to remove the little metal pin it broke in half so there is half still in the connector+
dang...then do this...(i had to do this several times from the same thing or melting plugs)
get a new plastic plug from the junk yard(with wires that you cut from the harness)

yeah you can cut and connect the wires but. thats realy crappy especialy down the road if you dont solder and heat shrink them. pulling pins is easy. practice on a crappy plug and itl take you 2 minutes to replace all the pins in a plug. 1 at a time
