o2 question!! help

o2 question!! help
ok i have tryied lookin around and what not about this. my question is i just put a z6 in and i also swap the wirring harness in as well. am i able to just plug it in to the z6 harness and off i go?? or do i still have to rewire it??. if i have to hard wire to the ecu there is alreayd a wire in the spots that it needs to go so do i just slice it in or take it out?? i have a cx 95 that might help lol thanx

you'll need to add one wire to the ECU for the O2 heater.
That is if you're going to use the P28.
find the 14 pin plug on the passenger shock tower (usually the top plug), connect to the yellow/black wire located in position #2, (located right under the latch that holds the plugs together) run the new wire to A6 at the ECU.

Do a continuity test from the ECU side to the O2 side under the hood and that should tell you real fast if you can just plug it in and go or you need to trace or run a new wire.

which part of the harness did you use for the swap? the engien harness or the chassis harness? or both?
the 95 CX shouldn't have the O2 heater wire, unless someone added it, someone swapped harnesses, or it's not a CX.
if that wire is there and you have the two VTEC wires, it's plug and play.

i just swap the motor with the harness that goes with there motor. its a 95 cx. there is a yellow/ black wire going to a6. idk im going to go buy a new o2 soon to make sure that one just isnt bad. ya i already ran the 2 wire for vtec that fine. my ecu is threwing 41 which is o2 so. i thanx you again for helping me out. ill keep ya posted

is it possible to fry a o2 if it is hook up wrong?? i have tryied 2 that im not to sure if they where good then i hook one up that i know was good and it still threw a 41 code
