avid motor mount trouble

Default avid motor mount trouble

i have a 91 civic hatch that im doing a ls swap in and i just got the avid motor mounts. now the driver side motor mount dose not match up to the ls motor and i was going to swap the mount with the d series motor but dose not match up to the block any idea's???? I was thinking taking a mount off a obd1 or obd2 d series block and hopeing that will match up has any one had this prob befor?????

are you mixing up the 2 and 3 bolt style mounts?

the avid mount will fit on the stock d motor but wont fit on the b motor cant i swap the motor mount it self maybe from a obd1 or 2 motor and the mount should fit

because the mount off the obdo motor wont bolt up 2 the ls

try a B18A engine-side mount? I think they are 2-bolt.

OK, then I would swap your current Avid mount for a 3-bolt style one and call it a day.

3-bolt is a better design anyway.

the bracket you have pictured is a 94+ DC B18B1 driver side bracket, the bracket you need is a 90-93 DA B18A1.
