Default B18B1 Integra Engine

I have an integra engine im going to rebuild, but i need to know whether its OBD1 or OBD2 before i start buying parts. Also what kind of ECU would i need to get? im a little new to all the engine swap stuff, btw this is going into my 92 civic lx

look on the head... It should have the year stamped in it.

If it is infact OBD1, then you will need a P75 ECU or a you can chip your current ECU and use a P75 map.

Thank you, i believe it is also OBD1, and since im lookin at rebuilding the engine, what kind of pistons and Rods should i get? i was looking as eagle rods but id rather get a second opinion, as for the pistons, totally lost on what i should buy

what are you planing to do boost, all motor??

I am looking to go all motor but maybe later in the long run, boost it, so the p30 pistons should be fine like hybrid said, and when i go to actually boost it swap the pistons out with something else and dealwith it then.

What kind of time frame do you have? If you plan to boost soon, just put the low comp pistons in now and deal with it being sluggish for a while. It won't hurt the engine.

If it's going to be some time, there are GSR, ITR and CTR pistons cheap on eBay and Amazon if you go with the NPR brand. If you'd consider running one of them, send me a private message. I have Hastings 82mm rings, but I want the rings from one of the NPR piston/ring kits.

it probs wont be for like atleast another 6 months or so before i try and boost it. i am able to put b16A Pistons in a B right? it wont be too tight of a fit in the cylinders?

i got this same swap in a 92 cx. i'm needing a block. bought it with a rod through the block :/. after i get that fixed i plan on buildin all motor. the help your giving him should help me make some decisions on what i am going to buy
