i got 99 si motor..im debating on wut to do..shud i go ctr or itr head or ls vtec..

 

LS VTEC because the B16 head u have now is basically the same as the CTR and ITR.
or just throw CTR cams and pistons in your B16

 

b16 head is similar to the ctr and itr head..hows dat.i mean i can understand ctr..do explain

 

um they the same castings? u can fit ITR intake manifolds onto B16's also.

i think even the valvetrain is the same on ITR and CTR heads too. some year ITR camshafts are also the exact same as CTR camshafts :D

yeah u can. your B16 is totally fine. just grab some ITR or CTR cams and it will bump your power up alot. eaither that or get a GSR block and throw your B16 head on it and create a "Poor Man's Type-R!"

I would do LS Vtec. Keep the b16 head get a ls block. and get valvetrain for the head.
