Wastegate bolts keep unscrewing themselves off?!
I noticed that recently after I got a 90 degree U bend for my Tial wastegate, the bolts that hole the L bend to the manifold unscrew themselve off. I super torqued it the 2nd time and it somehow unscrewed itself and one of the bolts felt off somewhere and now I have to buy a new bolt.
Is there any trick to keep them staying on? I did like 30 ft-lb on them and it still unscrews itself.

It is a Threadlocker/sealant. Blue is medium strength, and red is high-strength. You can get them at most local hardware/auto store.

I don't think the loctite is going to work. Loctite's operating temp is only up to around 300 degrees F. Maybe it'd be okay up to like 400-450, but after that it turns to liquid. I'm not sure what the exact location of the bolts is, or what they look like but you might want to look into using steel wire on the heads of the bolts to hold them together (this is what I did on my homemade hf turbo manifold....still holding fine 5 months later)
Good luck,

Yah, don't think loctite would help under those conditions. Did you try some lock washers ? They might not do either as the heat may just soften them into place.
It sounds as though your W/G setup is putting too much pressure on the the bolts from it's weight. I would suggest you try fabricating a brace for the W/G piping to relieve some pressure from weight.

who use locktight on there down pipe bolts
are you using the proper pitch bolts? they shouldnt keep backing out... have you ever thought about using jb weld? if you have, then ill be more then happier to laugh at your ***. jk, maybe a higher grade bolt will work (if you got these bolts at say... home depot and not with the wg) grade 8 is good stuff. i would use lock washers also.
Tried loctite didn't work! The bolts it did work on when you go to take them out if they are slim bolts they will break!I eventually asked my self why the hell I used loctite and created more work for myself removing broken bolts.I bought all new bolts and used lock washers ended up working really good!
