Hey, im looking for some help with my tilton twin disc , i recently installed a tilton twin disc ceramic clutch on a b series transmission with tilton master and hydraulic throwout bearing and also flow control valve , car shifts smooth normal driving conditions, ive tried bleeding several times, adjusting pedal stop from its lowest point to its highest point and at higher revs gears do not go in . has anyone had any sucess using this type of set up with a stock synchro transmissions, or is it only meant to work with dog engagement? thank u .

What gear are you adjusting the engagement in? I had the same issue for a while, wasn't able to shift at high rpm so I tried adjusting while the car was in 3rd or 4th gear and it worked for me..

Ive tried either way high or low i tried several different pedal heights , from its stock point to its lowest setting , at it lowest travel point if i had the pedal all the way down and would hit the too step car would move foward.

I was adjusting pedal travel with 1 gear . i will try to adjust it at 3-4 gear like u said ill give it a shot thanks
Just because there's views doesnt mean everyone has to chime in and say they dont know the answer.
How are you shifting when it is having the trouble? Are you shifting full throttle, or lifting on each shift? Does it have trouble shifting in all gears?
im having a similar issue with my Tilton also wont go into gear for 3rd or 4th shifting the car normally. Called Tilton and he told me to keep adjusting the pedal, haven't messed with it since.
i also have tilton twin disc ceramic clutch on a b series transmission with tilton master and hydraulic throwout bearing and also flow control valve. and having problems going in 2nd gear .
If you only have problems in 1 gear, it's likely a transmission or shifting issue. If it's in all gears, it's probably the clutch.
I've seen the Tilton cerametallic clutches warp floaters pretty bad. If the clutch is used, i'd pull it and inspect everything.

if the Tilton cerametallic clutches has warped the floaters. what would be the symptoms , i did noticed one side of my clutch is blue and the other is like new ? i also have used 3 diffrent trannys and grinds on 2nd gear and havent really went for the rest of the gears.
