I HAVE A QUESTION.

I HAVE A 93 DEL SOL SI. SEEMS TO ALWAYS RUN FINE HOWEVER SOMETIMES AFTER SITTING AT WORK ALL DAY IT WILL NOT START , OR WILL START AND CUT OFF RIGHT AWAY. IT TURNS OVER FINE, JUST WILL NOT FIRE UP. I have had this problem mabye only 4 times over the past 4 months , but twice in the past 2 days. Mabye the hot temps here outside have something to do with it ?

I think it may be the distributor , fuel pump or mabye the main relay, but I am not a mechanic at all. I am sure if it take it in I will be ripped off for more that it needs.
If anyone has any info or things I could check please let me know ,it would be greatly apreciated. The car has 125,000 miles on it and would like to keep it running without spending a ton money.

If the starter doesn't engage, try to hit it with a metal rod or a club. It should work. I think you need a new starter.
