its the same thing if both are from manual transmssion. just add vtec, knock, oil pressure, to the y7 harness. and do the iac 3 wire to 2 wire conversion.

Y7 engine is a non-vtec engine (105HP) so i reprogram an OBD 1 Ecu to work as a tuned d16y7 (240cc injectors. header... etc). The deference between y7 and y8 harness are 3 wires that i have to connect them to the ECU (these wires doesn 't exist). So i want to find where to conect them (to the engine).

I hope that you can understand what i 'm saying, my english are not very good

thank you in advance

what year car do you have? assuming you have a y7 its atleast a 96-00 LX/DX. so you won't need a reprogrammed obd1 ecu. just the p2p ecu which is the y8 ecu. depending on which year you have specifically theres obd2a(96-98) and obd2b(99-00). and i already told you the where the wires go.

It's a 98 OBD2a. I have a OBD2a vtec ecu but the vtec wires are not connected so i had to reprogram an obd1 ecu to avoid check engine. Do you have fotos to show me where are the knock and oil pressure sensors??? Thank you for your infos

just get the wire from the ecu vts, oil ps, ks and run it out to the engine. obviously the vts and oil ps are simple. the knock goes so a sensor on the back of the block above the oil ps. search the forum for mini me swap. its the exact wiring that you need to do.
