look in the suspension thread. i believe one of the mod's patrick if i remember correctly did a write up of koni's and ground controls. same principal would apply to stock shocks. but, for the front.. take out the fork bolt, and then the bolt in the top of the fork that holds the shock in. then take out the two nuts up top that hold the assembly in. then the shock and spring should fall down. put your spring compressor on the spring, and remove the shock. reverse the process to reinstall. for the rear.. take out the bottom bolt of the strut, and the bolt closest to the brake rotor. loosen the inside bolt on the control arm also. the control arm should fall down a bit. then, take the two nuts out of the top, and the assembly should fall down. same thing with the spring compressor, and reverse this also for the installation of new equipment. i don't have any pics, but there it is in a nutshell.

it is really easy but DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT remove the middle bolt top of the strut remove the two outer bolts but not the one on the middle.

The only time you remove the middle bolt is when the you have the strut in the compressor. there is a nut and a hex you put a hex in the middle and loosen the nut while compressed.

ps what is it that you are doing installing coilovers, stock springs, lowering springs, or installing new struts

Installing shocks/struts in an Acura is pretty much the same thing as a Honda. It is just a couple bolts.

Good luck, just don't break the bolt off in the rear LCA make sure to douse them very well PB Blaster or WD-40 etc before attempting to remove them.

Shouldn't be a problem assuming its always been a cali car.

I've only seen them break on rusted out cars.
