as you know i have a cel, dont have access to a scan tool. so i jumped it. i did it before. but know it doesnt blink a code the cel just stays on solid. i jumped it right so it cant be connection at my paperclip help please

 

Check ECU... that was my problem. Has it always been on?

 

no when i do the battery thing it resets it. and it wont come on for 200 miles or so. and i cant read it again

My problem was when my CEL came on it flashed 5 times an on the 5'th flash it stayed on. Come to find out it was a bad ecu n was burnt lol

 

oh ok mine has to be good cause when i reset it wont come on. i unplugged a sensor and it read that code, but i cleared it and drove it it came on again, and i couldnt read it

You have CEL code 0 without a starting problem (the high idle is a separate problem). Here's how to troubleshoot the code 0 problem:

but when i unplug pcm to clear code, it goes away for about 200 miles then come back on. its a good pcm right since it doesnt come on right away?

 

It's caused by an intermittent wire or ECU fault in the service connector or CEL circuit. My guess would be that the ECU is faulty, but do the troubleshooting.
