Default HELP! TRANNY LEAK NEED HONDA VETERANS ON THIS

Hey honda-tech i need your help desparately. so i take my car around the block for the first time ever, and i pull back in my driveway and noticed that i was leaking transmission fluid..so i take a look to see where its coming from and it deffinatley looked like it was coming out of my drivers side axle where it meets the tranny..soo i figured must be that axle seal, so i tear my car back apart and take out the axle and put in a brand new seal ( i bought one for a 91 integra ls..idk if all the b series cable trannys have the same one?), put it all back together and take it for another spin just to find it still leaking just as bad as before. i have no idea what to do now..i have a cable supposevly b16 tranny in my crx with of course b series axles...i need this car running now that my DD just **** the bed..please help

Measure the axle...

I'm assuming you installed the seal correctly.

Does the halfshaft seat into the trans the entire way?

The outer diameter where the seal rides.

What seal are you using?

Which midhaft???

IIRC 94+ midshaft uses a smaller seal.

Make sure the shaft is very smooth and free of rust. A little rust will act like sandpaper on the seals and wear them extremely fast.
Granted you have the correct seals in the first place.

Not my logic, Honda's

When I ordered seals for a GSR tranny I did I was like WTF, they sent the wrong seal, but it was right.

i have a oil leak from the same spot. i have a ys1 case with hydro gears and im using a 94+ half shaft and axles in a 88 hf crx. everything fits as good as a da half shaft and axles. so basically im supposed to use the seal to the half shaft right?
