ok . . I was under the impression that the b20b was high comp. . . ?? I plan on only running about 6-8 pounds at the most. . . ???
with a full tune it can do wonders.my friend had a bone stock b20 tuned on aem ems,she was boosting 12 psi,350whp,every launch was at revlimit.she had it for a year till a rocker arm snapped.the block is still good

i've seen the b20 blocks put to the test when it comes to boost. there's a guy on here somewhere, that pushes 15 psi from a borg warner gt35r, and has no issues. 6psi though? why not aim higher? like 9 or so?
how much psi of boost you are capable of running means nothing if you don't take into account the size of the snail. for all intensive purposes yes you should be fine running some boost through it, just don't go crazy.
b20b is 8.8:1 compression b20z is the higher compression motor ~9.6:1 I believe.
I had a boosted b20b, ran 9 psi on a 60 trim, had no issues whatsoever. It is ALL in the tune. If you have someone that is compitent in tuning, you should have no problems. Don't let people steer you away saying about thin sleeves, there is a guy in FI forums running 600hp on a stock sleeved b20 in his integra.

You need to be asking...."how much FI power can a stock B20 handle and be reliabe?"
