ummm ****.... well I can tell you the welder is setup for a 110/115 outlet. I find it hard to believe your STANDARD plugs are 230. I mean how the hell would you run small radios and other little things?
ok with that being said I want you to go to your local hardware store and just buy the standard isreal plug. Then take a picture of it on the back. I'm gonna go check out your plugs on google.

A lot of countries in Europe run 220ish standard.

Israel runs 220VAC 50hz
according to this

Your welder should work... the cover that the power cord in to should come off and there should be some terminals to connect/re-arrange and set the welder up for 220VAC. (or there may be a switch on the back to select between 220 and 120 like PCs have)
I would find an electrician to help you out if you don't know what your doing....
120 will tingle a little
220 will HURT you....
(and yes I know it takes less than 1A at ANY voltage to kill you)
Goold luck!

Well with the new inverter machines all you need to do is wire the cord with whatever plug you please and the machine recognizes what power your using. At least that's how the Miller inverters work.
Dude, your wall socket already looks like you tried to hammer that plug in
Get a local electrician to cut your original plug and put a new one on
And yeah, it's true, most european countries have 230V, just different plugs. 400V/16A Three Phase sockets are also quite common in German Garages..

just cut the end off, find out what wires went to the II on the american plug and wire them to your two oo. the one on the bottom is the ground. do this the right way, solder and heat srink wrap. make sure the wall plug is wired for enough amps, you dont want to trip breakers or burn your house down. or you could be retarted and use one of these. http://www.target.com/Embark-All-in-...adapter&page=1
