My a/c in my 2000 civic worked but just blew out hot air because it needed to be recharged! So I bought the $20 recharger cans at Wal Mart and followed the instructions and it worked!! It's not freezing cold, but it's better than the hot air from before!!!

I bought a second can, but this time, my motor starts to idle low and back up while I'm charging it!! I know i didnt overcharge it because there is a gauge on the can that tells me the psi and I made sure I didn't overcharge it!

Now my car idles low whenever i turn on the a/c and it goes back to normal the second I turn off the a/c!!

Can someone tell me what I did wrong? Or how can I fix this problem?? Can it be a bad A/C pump?

Btw, the A/C is still not freezing!
