well its cold outside maybe 40-55 degrees and when i turn the car on in the morning i will let it warm up for like 5min to get the oil flowing thrue and well the car just takes atleast 30min to fully warm up and when i am on the highway after 45min of driving the car it gets cold again

Re: motor doesnt warm up when its cold outside
There is definitely a problem, and don't complain about it being cold MR. Tampa... Its colder than that here and mine takes about 10 minutes to fully warm up at idle. I don't think the engine would just get cold again, that doesn't make any sense which leads me to believe it is a problem with the gauge or the sensor...

change the thermostat. it could be stuck open.
i had this situation, i was driving on the freeway while it was raining and the temp was actually dropping. when i pull over and let it idle, the temp would raise, but as soon as i drive it for a bit the temp would drop. Turns out my friend forgot to put in a tstat. lol.
