Icon3 coilover problem

I recently installed progress coilovers on my 05 ep3. I have been adjusting the perches all day trying to make the the front even and the rear even. But the front driver side would never go down far enough. Nothing was working so i decided to put every coilover to 10 threads and start over(front and rear).

Every coilover dropped but the front driver side, which stayed at the same height, about one finger gap compared to the passenger side which was tucking bad. During installing the front driver side coilover the cv joint fell out, but we were able to get it back in. Could this effect anything

Is there any thing that could be blocking the car from going this low on the driver side?

Any help is great.

lol, you do know that each corner has a different amount of weight on it? Thats why coilovers were developed so you could try to even out the weight on each wheel from side to side not to play with wheel gap. Do you have your weight in the drivers seat while setting the purch locations? If not, you are doing it wrong.....and you thought you were getting coilovers for ride hight adjustment.....fail

If you are just setting ride high and not corner weighting here is my advice on set up....

1) Find a very flat spot, like completly level and park the car on it. Now take some chock and mark where the tires are....
2) All mesurments should be done with the drivers weigh in the car and about the amount of gas you drive around with....( you can use a buddy for the drivers weight.
3) this is important!.....mesure from the jacking loactions, not the dam fenders....fender gap means nothing to how a car handles, you want the floor pan to be your mesering point because thats where the suspension is attached.....mesure the 4 jacking locations, and right them down and decide what corner(s) need to be adjusted. take a turn or 2 on the perches.....
4) also imortant, since you most likly do not have self centering pads like they have on an alinment rack, you will need to roll the car around a little to get the tires flat on the ground. You want to get the car back into the squairs you maked on the ground and mesure again. then adjust as needed...

FYI, because of the design of your suspension, you do not want the ft or rear lcas angled up from the center of the car....if they are, your car will handle like crap.

yes i do know that every corner has a different amount of weight on it. thats why i was adjusting each corner. And i was able to have someone in the car while i did this. I said one finger gap just to give an idea.

I need help with this front coilover. I don't want everything on 10 threads, but i would like my front diver side to lower, and no matter where i put it, it wont go any lower. Is it designed like this because of the driver, tranny?

Answering my questions would help me ok thanks.

I did ansewer your question and the fact that you are even noteing a "one finger gap" tells me you are doing it wrong.....If you insist on doing it the wrong way, just lower the ft purch until there is no load on it with the car up in the air...when you drop the car off the jack, it will be lower.......btw, if you would take the time to mesure the hight the way I told you to, you would notice that with the car floor pan flat, there would be less "wheel gap" in the rear than the front....thats how honda made the car.

Have a nice day.

I guess god hates you...sorry to hear about that. Think about a table with one short leg, how does the table sit? How do you keep a table with one short leg from rocking? You shorten another leg or put something under the short leg.....thats why I told you to take 4 mesurements at the jacking points on flat ground insted of looking at god dam fender gap or thread count. Since you know everything you are welcome for nothing.
