Default do i need coolant lines going to the intake?

on the idle valve, and i think i see two going to the tb? well in jamaica it cant freeze shut, and i start my car and start driving under 3000 rpm immediately, do i even beed the idle valve? lol

im about to change it as it seems bad (revs go up after hard acceleration/launches) and id just cjange the coolant lines to one or block them off, block the ones on the valve, and do the same on the tb...

any negatives?

oops wrong section i drive a 97 jdm itr sorry

bleed idle valve? or do you mean bleed the coolant system? There should be coolant to the tb, then to the iacv then to the water neck.

i was under the impression the coolant lines go to the tb to stop it from freezing shut, cant happen to me, or is there another reason? a sensor

i was also under the impression that the idle valve needs coolant lines to turn down the idle once the engine is warm, i dont really need that...

No you dont need the fitv, which is the sensor on the bottom, you can just bypass that sensor, and go directly from intake manifold to the iacv.

Coolant tells the sensor that its warms, and thus making your car idle. Fitv controls the idle during start up, but IMO i dont think you need the fitv.
