its better just to get a y7 again.
you will have to convert to obd1
if you want vtec you should get the y8

pre 96 cars are obd1 96+ are obd2

on board diagnostics.

basically your car is obd2

if you try to put an obd1 motor in it wont work unless you convert your car to obd1

to do the z6 you will need an obd2 to obd1 conversion and a p28 ecu

and wire in vtec

and i dunno what else exactly

yeah because u would have to swap oil pumps and timing gears on the lower for the crank sensor. then if ur y7 head is salvagable throw it on the z6 with a new headgasket. use the z6 intake manifold but not the injectors. thats the only way it will work and bolt rite up. if u use the z6 head. u need to wire for vtec and get chipped obd1 ecu and a convsersion harness from obd2-obd1. your y7 dizzy would need reamed out alil so u can adjust it. only one bolt will line up but it saves u 30 bux buying another conversion harness for the dizzy... take ur pick...
