Default H22a4 Tunning Help Please!

I got an 1999 h22a4 in my 94 accord running with a po6 converted into p28 ecu, no knock sensor or IAB. The motor and injectors(290cc) are obd2. i'm running a map that was given to me by one of my friend. He gave me the same map that's he's running on his h22a(340cc). With that map, my run idle ackward, sputter like crazy, and throwing out lotso of black smoke. I don't even get close to 20mpg with that map. The program that was used to tune the map was Crome. Can anyone make me a better map for my set-up, intake, header, exhaust? any suggestion would be very helpful.

Sounds like you need to change the injector size from 340 to 290. The car is just running to rich!

But like Turbogixxer says just get it tuned!

the injectors i'm running on right now is 290cc and the map was tune for 340cc. A dyno tune here in houston is $450. i'm not planning to have the car dyno tune until i turbo it.

Sorry to make myself a bit more clear. The injector scaling is wrong for your car. Rom is for 340cc and you have 290cc. This needs to be changed, if not your car is running just too rich!

Can your friend change this for you?

You need a tune or a new base map that has been created for 290cc injectors. If you keep driving it as it is, you risk possible engine damage.

Running too rich is just as bad too. You can wash out rings or have fuel leak into the oil seize bearing.

you need to retune it man. Not all tune are created equal, and ever motor build is different even if you have the same bolt on and stuff.
