Default Accord with H22a swap wont start

I found an accord with H22a swap that has been sitting for about a couple of years and when I go to start it, it will crank but engine will not overturn. It will overturn once then die immediately. Any solution to the problem? I have tried draining out the old fuel and putting in new premium fuel, but it still wont start. Checked distributor, rotor, module and coil and everything is fine? Could it be fuel injectors?

yea really frustrating. I guess it's just trial and error. I heard many say it could be the main relay but I'm not sure how to get to it.

Some of the 97 accords had an imobilizer, and i've heard of some problems with the fuel relay actually engaging, I'd check fuel pressure to make sure the rail is getting fuel, then i'd pull the plugs right after you try to start it a couple of times, see if there is fuel in the chamber. Also if it is a 96 or 97 you might be dealing with a distributor crossover, check each plug to make sure its getting fire, also check the basics, if you had another working honda i'd try swapping parts in and out to see if you the other parts work fine on other vehicles. I remember having trouble getting mine started, the distributor was actually had the wires on it wrong after verifying the cylider wire arrangement it started right up.
good luck

there are some good suggestions here also make sure the firing order and the engine timing is correct. If it wants to fire spark is good so thats a great sign make sure the plugs are not drowning in gas. but I would try checking if everything is on time also.

yea checked the timing and its correct. I actually took the plug wires and spark plugs off a working accord and still that didn't work. I don't know if the fuel injectors are bad? Is there anyway to test them? Maybe would have to take them off the other one and try them I guess. There's pressure coming from the gas cover when you open it, would this still till you that the pressure is there or would you have to test it at the engine comapartment? Can you use a accord fuel rail on a h22a by the way?

you could try a couple drops of oil in each cylinder....rings may need some help to regain compression from sitting so long.
