car wont start.. just turns and dont start. can't hear the fuel pump.. but ran it direct and it turns on... help!

 

did you check the main relay? usually that the culprit if your pump isnt even turning on. Its under your dash above the clutch pedal.

 

yea..i bought a new one.. and still nothing.. so i returned it..

 

Did this no start condition suddenly happen to an otherwise running car, or did you do any mods before this happened?

 

a friend told me it might be my ecu.. but its not that. i just tried my buddies p 28 and still nothing... help!

I'd first check the fuel pump fuse and relay then.

 

would that fuse be under the hood or inside the car?

 

92-95 Civics -- check fuses 31 (hood), 24 (dash), and 18 (dash).

96-00 Civics -- check fuses 44 (hood), 31 (dash), and 13 (dash).

Is the CEL ON? If so, are you able to pull a code? Do you also lack spark? Have you checked the important ground wire on the thermostat housing?
