Air to water or Air to air? what you think?
There are several threads regarding this issue. For 90% of the users who plan to daily drive their setups, information both emphircal and practical have both shown that for the street, there is no advantage in running an AW (Air-to-Water) vs. an AA (Air-to-Air) setup. Only in drag racing is there any advantage to AW as the exchanger doesn't have to wait until the car is actually running to demonstrate its properties. There's no power advantage, just lower IATs as the car stages for its run on the drag strip.
Judging from the only one I have exp with. It seems like the outside air temp doesnt effect the AW setups so drastically. So your tune will prob be closer all the time. The main problem I have seen though is that its such a pain to deal with the AW always having to refill and drain it etc. Def wouldnt reccomend it for the street.
I run air to water with a fuel cell filled with ice water. the pump is in a toggle switch. when i'm about to get in to boost i flip the switch. ice water cool the charge, i get outta boost i turn it off not to heat up the water to bad. it works pretty well. I have to get ice if i wanna run my car hard. thats the only bad part.
