93 EX wont turnover Battery is good

I tried jumping the starter with no success. Can you jump the starter if the clutch safety switch is bad?? Or any other ideas???

try push starting it.
when you turn they key does it just click? if so gab a hammer and why someone is truning the car over give the starter a couple good hits.

it does push start, it doesnt click at all what the right way to jump the starter , just to make sure i did it right?
