How in the hell do you take out the spark plug seals under the valve cover?

I'm not sure which part to pry or what is part is the seal and which is the valve cover lol....help me out. thanks.

 

i haven't removed the valve cover on the k series yet, but for the B series engines, you simply remove the valve cover to get to the seals. you should replace all the gaskets when you remove the valve cover.

 

once you have the valve cover off, underneith where the 4 plug holes are is where they need to be pryed out, using a screwdriver is easy but be carful.

 

Yeah I've done plenty of b/d series, but it seems different and a lot harder on a K. It's still pretty new, 11k miles so I know it can't be caked on already. I don't want to pry the wrong part and damage the valve cover.

 

Yeah everything is already off, where do I pry at?
