Trying to do a s2000 antenna conversion.. Locustom is sold out of shark antennas. All the write-up's/how to lead to broken links and sites that are shut down. I read there is a way to fab with kit up with all oem honda parts and part #'s instead of the pcv piece, etc.
I could careless about radio reception, I'm just looking to replace my antenna.
Any info is appreciated.

on a off note i tink its radio shack (some place like that) offers antenna that you can have on the side of the car if you wanted to shave our put a plug on the hole. its a strip that I found works best when I put it in the A-pillar.

Can you just buy new s2k antenna in you oem-parts store? nearest honda dealer for example. antenna + 2 space rings about 30$, rest-just your DIY things to instal it to dc2.
I completely agree. For the $30 cost of a new one it's stupid for people to rip off my antenna. Just makes no sense IMO. It's actually almost easier just to buy one!
Not sure where you guys are getting your info but a new S2K Antenna is about $145 from the dealer. You can get them through online parts stores for a little over $100 but it isn't $30.

hmmmmm...
ELEMENT, ANTENNA 39151S2HE01 - $25.15
NUT 39154S2A003 - $5.13
INSULATOR 39156S2A003 - $4.30
DIY - priceless )
i mean you dont need BASE COMP., ANTENNA 39152S2AA01 for 100$...actually i got one from crashed s2k, and i have install it like in team-integra manual, but not sure that it realy works as amplifier - only just like nut i think.

I'd actually prefer that.
Where do you get a nice plug for the oem antenna hole?
