s2000 Antenna conversion? I need help!!!!!!!!
http://www.bseries.net has step-by-step detailed instructions how to install it
Carlex is in the process of making antenna kits for our cars (complete with the S2000 antenna). He said $35 for the kit. Supposedly, this is everything that is needed to convert to the S2k antenna...just as featured on the install section of bseries.net.
If you would like to do the install yourself, the S2k antenna can be had for around $14-$17.

the instructions from bseries.net weren't that clear,
-how long does the PVC have to be
-what is the diameter of the nuts, screws, etc...
-does the antenna screw directly into the stud?
I have not heard back from these guys and I email them way too many times!!!

yeah, my antenna stopped working about 2 weeks ago, and the site wasn't terribly informative about it, so I stuck another regular integra antena on it.
maybe, if I get a toy hatch I will put one on it.

crewjones: I recently installed mine. To answer some of your questions..1.it doesn't matter how long the PVC is. 2.First buy the antenna and take it with you when you go to buy the parts to make sure you find the right sizes. 3. the antenna screws into the coupling.
Hope that helps.
Hope that helps.
i have all the parts except the coupling............ive checked all the major hardware stores no one has one that is that small. Smallest size they have is 1/4". Home Depot and Canadian Tire dont have it..........where else can i look? i am aware that u have to tap it yourself but i havent found a coupling small enough to do it.
I had the same problem.. I was able to get everything except the $#%^#$ coupling.
I'm waiting for carlex to make the kits and hopefully get the coupling off him..

i am going today or tomm to get a coupling made............will probably cost $10 - 15 from Brafasco or Wainbee, gonna go check Princess Auto right now.
I just installed mine this past weekend. Here are a few comments that should help you guys.
Trey suggests using 1/2" PVC pipe. It is too small. You need 3/4". The length of the PVC doesn't really matter. It is the angled edge that is important.
Trey suggests cutting the PVC pipe to a 45 deg angle. That is too steep! I used about a 25-30 deg angle. The PVC is creating a wedge for the antenna to tighten against. With the angle +30 deg, it didn't want to tighten very well. Decreasing the angle helped a lot. Also, I glued the washer per Trey's instructions, but due to the angle of the PVC it would shift off-center and break loose. Just make sure your washer is larger than the PVC and you can just tighten it up.
I also couldn't find the coupling at Lowe's or Home Depot. I did find it at an Ace Hardware for about $.50! Try your local hardware store.
I have all the part numbers at the house and have contacted Trey about posted them with the instructions. Once I get around to it, he will have them.
It looks great and I like it a lot better than the OE retracting unit. Reception has gone down on certain channels. Nothing bad, but I can tell. Enjoy!

I just talked to my source for the antennas. I'd need 5+ people to make this worth my time.
