Wideband and Narrow Band in one O2 Sensor
I just bought my EF with a poor mans Type R. The problem is that the guy I bought the car from converted it to OBD0 and I am trying to convert it to OBD1. The reason for me to convert it to OBD1 is so that I can tune it with Hondata S300. I know I need a 4 wire O2 Sensor for the conversion but I also need a Wideband O2 Sensor. I have heard that there are wideband O2 sensors that have extra wires so that it can send the narrow band reading to the ECU. Is this possible and if it is can I use this? Where can I get it?
Almost all of them have two analog outputs. One to simulate the narrowband 0-1v and the other is the 0-5v wideband output.
You can just disable the 02 sensor heater in the S300 and use the wideband for both.

So basically, I can just run those 2 analog wires to the ecu and then run the other wideband to the meter/ gauge. What brand do you recommend?
i have the aem 30-4100 and im trying to figure if i to can just use the wideband alone or do i need to have my stock o2 sensor in 2. like you said i could just disable my stock o2 and just run my 30-4100 and just make sure that is hooked up to my s300? and if so how do i hook this up to my s300. im running obd 1 sorry to thread jack
The 30-4100 has two outputs. one is the 0-5 and the other is the 0-1 you can hook both up to the Hondata I beleive. You may want to give them on their tech support and they will tell you exactly how to hook it up and what calibration to use for the sensor.
If you are looking at something with a gauge and two outputs I would look into the PLX units.

so this is my setup right now. i took my o2 sensor out and i put in my 30-4100 in. i left my o2 sensor tied up for now still pluged connected. and now all i need to do it just make sure my 0-5v is connected.? or do i have to remove my stock o2 sensor and run my 0-5v into my stock o2 harness? hope this aint to confusing best way i could think of writing it
