Hey guys its my 1st time doing a swap. I am putting a B16A2 in to a EK 96 civic coupe. I know it may be a dumb question to some of you but I am learning. I have a issue with the ECU vtec solenoid and the vtec oil sensor. When I did the swap I decide I did not want to spend another 175$ and plus there is no one with a SI or GSR harness at this moment. So i use the 96 DX harness. What do I need to do inorder to hook up the Vtec Solenoid and the Vtec oil sensor? I know there will have to be some splice and wire tapp, but I do not want to go ahead and do it without any advice. I went out and bought a 98 civic EX cut engine harness and use one of the cap for the vtec oil sensor. I did a little research on google about it but it does not help me at all. I need a step one, step two and so on.
Also forgot to mention the ECU is a p72 obd2a.
Any advice will truly help!!!

 

You need to buy a jumper harness for the ecu and put in a p2t ecu and the wire in the pins into the jumper.

Somewhere in the forums i ran accross the pin chart for the ecu but for the life of me i cant find it :/

 

I did a research and found the pin layout from hondatech.com. is that what the pin called? p2t. I dont think i need the jumper harness due to the obd2 p72 ecu. its from 96-98 GSR. It just plug right into my harness. Where can i get thos pin? dealer? I have 2 xtra engine harness one is a 98 ex coupe automatic and the other one is a eg ex manual harness. I thought i could open one of them clip and use the pin on the ecu/harness.
