sohc people @ what rpm do you hit full boost and with what turbo ?
im wondering how much i'm going to have to spend to get something that can spool at around 3000-3500 and still be decently efficient pushing say 10 psi at 7k rpm
im still a turbo newbie but can i get that kind of performance from something cheap like a dsm turbo or do i have to step up to something more spendy like a ball bearing turbo?

Open compressor inlet, open wastegate and no downpipe.

I had 5 psi at 3000 all the way up. I had it regulated to 5psi but my wastegate hose blew off and I had 12psi in second gear at 6500
That'll scare the **** out of you. On a fully stock motor

T25 D16A6 5 psi @ 3000, 10 psi @ 3300. 2.5" mandrel DP. Need boost controller for clean boost above 5500 though. The wastegate spring is too weak to hold the pressure back at that rpm.

In what gear are you guys getting this boost? I'm noticing more and more than my GReddy takes forever to deliver good boost on my Civic, like not untill 5k rpm do I have full boost in 2nd or 3rd.

I'm running the Apexi ball bearing kit and I get full spool (6.5psi) at 2700 in fourth gear. I don't know how quick is spools in first (I have to watch the road) but I think it's by 2500 at least. I'm running a 2-1/2" thermal with 2-1/2" cat.
It spools way faster than my old Greddy TD04. It also doesn't run out of breath at redline. Much, much, much better turbo than the greddy.
