I was running a simple single nozzle 100 shot dry on my stock K20 hatch. 1/8th mile times said it was good for a LOW 11. plan was to bump it to 150 and shoot for 10s, then it got stolen.

Consistent 1.6 60fts on 24.5s spraying off the line. with more seat time had 1.5s easy

 

Same here with a horrible alignment/caster all ****ed on a 100 shot with my K20eg, I was trapping as high as 120 on drag radials best time of 12.0 on radials 2.0 60ft :S :S.

I know of a couple K20's hatches running 200 shot on 100% stock bottom ends running mid 10s.

 

I went 11.13 @ 122.51 on an 11.5:1 B16, with old crower 3's, AEBS cheap IM, 68mm TB, Modified DC header and a 125 shot single fogger. car made 181/115 all motor and 281/220 on spray

10.600 @ 133 on an stock sleeve H22, Mahle high comp pistons, eagle rods, stock ecu, 2200 lb car with 26 talls and a 240 shot. Back in '06

made 1 foolish mistake and it blew up on the dyno

drove the times in my sig with street tires
have slicks/tractiionbar ready to go in but my motor let go

You are correct. I started out at 400, but figured out a lot about the setup and started over at 240 and it went faster. The season ended and I built the Hot Rod before I had much time to experiment. I am sure it would have went deep nines on the 400 but we will never know.

 

i went 10.69@136 mph in a 2400lbs street car back in 04-05

2.0 b-series making mid 400's on spray

 

2.0 vtec ,sleeves, direct port fogger made 189/142 off 378/311 with spray went 7.0 in the 1/8@109 never took it to the 1/4

failures are not a reason for quitting, just reasons for stepping up your game

next season a 87.2mm piston/rod combo on stock sleeves with some cams
aiming for 400-450whp on spray and high 10's in my daily driver (320whp is so 2008)

i'll back in Santa Pod next year for at least 1 event (maybe HKS class if the rules are'nt to harsh )

if you have to ask us what will work, chances are you are uneducated by the compression you are wanting to run, the skimpy block guard and probably stock cast pistons..

so no, i highly doubt this setup would last long
