I'm working on a 100 shot for my D17. stock block. arp headstuds. walboro 255lph pump. RC injectors. KPro. D16Y8 intake manifold swap. AEM fuel rail. AEM fpr. Would have been done in time to race this year if i didn't have so many other projects.

360whp serious?

i was running 320whp on my second bottle i ever filled up (wasted first bottle on 50-75jets) and i consider myself a beginner

this is on a TOTALLY stock b18c, stock cast 2.25" manifold, never removed anything from the engine except for valvecover for valveclearances.
only thing 'aftermarket' on the engine is a generic WAI
single injector dry shot fueled trough Ectune

i'm a poor college student so i'm very budget limited

semibuilding the engine for next season for next season...for no less 400-450whp

that will probably be on my 6th bottle i ever filled up

i have an ls vtec with itr spec forged pistons, eagle rods, stock crank & block. The head is fully port & polish from JG Engine Dynamics with .5 mm oversized intake valves, dual springs and titanium retainers. As of right now it has a ctr intake manifold and a bored throttle body but its still stock. Also the intake cam is ctr and the exhaust cam is a gsr cam. I made 254 hp on a 70 shot of nitrous only because the engine couldn't handle anymore nitrous at high rpms I need a bigger manifold and cams. My question is what do you guys think this setup will hit in an 88 crx hf fully gutted?

Have there ever been any high HP nitrous honda builds? Realistically, would there be any drawbacks to building a nitrous SPWD/Outlaw car?
I was speaking to a guy at a recent event about this. He does all the nitrous stuff for a super mod car, small block chevy, fully built makes about 600 HP on the motor, then around 1000HP with the nitrous. obviously the motor would need to be built for it, but it's quite common in other areas of drag racing. Would be interesting to see right?

https://honda-tech.com/forums/all-motor-naturally-aspirated-44/all-motor-nitrous-gsr-dyno-2518463/

that's only one of the multiple 400-500whp nitrousbuilds here on honda-tech
next season i'll be in that region also

there is a lot of R&D left and 600+whp on a nicely built k-series sounds doable

but there's a point where every nitrous build get's volatile because of the raised O2 content. pure O2 is very agressive and the nitrogen in the air dampens this volatile nature. nitrous has a higher oxygen content then normal air causing a nasty barrier to how much you can actually spray

Yeh, this is what i'm working with, I have a few guys on board right now, but none of them have much experience with Honda engines.
Most of the people that I speak to haven't experimented with Honda platforms so I'm looking elsewhere for info. That gt40 in the workshop just gets more appealing everyday lol

its hard to say. on a bigger motor like a k24 you should be able to make up in the 600's with a progressive conrtoller. most ive made on a b-series was 497hp, but that was also a very long time ago

damn im building a 90mm bore stroker all motor but seeing your numbers making me want to drop the compression and have a shot. a friend of mines tells me he can put a switch for the s300 where will switch maps between all motor and nitrous so when im running street it will run real good and when i run track switch to the nitrous map that way i wont have performance issues.
